Princesshay charity abseil

Princesshay is hosting a charity abseil to raise money for the West of England School and College for young people with little or no sight.

 

The event will start at 9am with the first abseil at 10am on Sunday 10th February where thrill seeking individuals can abseil off the top of the Princesshay car park in front of the majestic Copper Oak tree in Southernhay.

Anyone wishing to take part will be asked to pay a £15.00 entry fee as well as raising £75.00 in sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues or peers.

The aim of the event is to involve lots of local people from the community, while helping raise the profile of the vital work of the West of England School and College. Fat Face, who have their largest UK store in Princesshay are sponsoring the charity abseil event with World Champion Climber and Fat Face Team rider Steve McClure, taking part as well as presenting his new DVD ‘Pysche’, for free in the store at 4pm.
