PRINCIPLES IS BACK IN EXETER, EXCLUSIVELY AT DEBENHAMS

One of Britain’s best-loved brands is back thanks to Debenhams and internationally-renowned designer Ben de Lisi. The new
Principles collection which officially launched on Saturday 6th February 2010 at Debenhams in Princesshay includes pieces
from day through to evening, as well as a petite offer. The range is also complemented by handbags and accessories.
Principles, exclusively at Debenhams are passionate about translating the looks of the season into gorgeous, wearable collections.
The new fashion range will be offering the very best of the Principles by Ben de Lisi designer collection including the Stone
tipped belted mac, fabulously cut to show off a woman's curves and the gorgeous black and white ‘New York’ monochrome print
dress, inspired by the New York Skyline.
Becky Iles Debenhams Womanswear Manager in Princesshay said, “Principles is recognised as a brand that provides stylish solutions
for the fashion conscious shopper. We’re extremely pleased to be able to offer our customers another high fashion brand by
introducing this exclusive new range in store.”
The new Principles range will be located on the second floor of Debenhams offering customers the latest styles in sizes 6
– 20. Staff will be on hand to offer advice including how to wear the season’s key trends, selecting an outfit for a special
occasion, or showing you how to dress to flatter your shape.
So for this season’s most sensational clothing, call into the new Principles department in Debenhams, Exeter and don’t forget
to use the fantastic in store Personal Shopping team who are always on hand to help select outfits for every size and budget!
PRINCESSHAY TEAMS ABSEIL FOR CHARITY

HEARTS WILL BE RACING THIS VALENTINE'S AS PRINCESSHAY TEAMS ABSEIL FOR CHARITY.
Over 40 plucky Princesshay employees from the centre management team and the shopping quarter’s retailers and restaurants
will be launching themselves off the top of the former Debenhams building on Saturday 13th February, in a bid to raise money
for the NSPCC South West Child’s Voice Appeal.
Sure to get the pulses racing, each participant will abseil 140ft from the top of the former Debenhams roof to the street
below!
Wayne Pearce, Princesshay’s Centre Director said, “I’ve never done an abseil before so to say I’m slightly nervous is an understatement!
However, our focus must be on raising money for this fantastic local charity, which provides invaluable support and advice
to thousands of young people across the region.”
The Princesshay shopping quarter is taking part in the Express and Echo Dragon’s challenge which has tasked a number of businesses
in Exeter to raise £5000 by the end of March. All sponsorship money raised by each abseiler will be donated to the cause.
The following retailers and restaurants in Princesshay have all put forward employees to take part. These are Debenhams, Beaverbrooks,
Faith, Fat Face, Ann Harvey, Musto, Reiss, Schuh, Disney, Build a Bear, Schuh, Topshop and Wagamama
Anna Westmoreland, Debenhams Cosmetics Sales Manager said, “Five of us from Debenhams have risen to the challenge and will
be abseiling off the top of our old store! I’m feeling a mixture of nervousness, excitement and anticipation but I’m determined
to do it and raise loads of money for the NSPCC South West Child’s Voice Appeal.”
Tamsin Hannan, Store Manager of Musto Exeter said, “We’re so excited to be doing this challenge and especially for such a
worthwhile cause. They’ll be five of us jumping off on Saturday 13th Feb and we’ll all be wearing the new Spring collection
from our shop, Musto. Look out for us in our pink hoodies!”

THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG: ROYAL ACADEMY

INTRODUCING THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG: ROYAL ACADEMY, LEAPING TO A DISNEY STORE NEAR YOU THIS SPRING
This Spring, Disney Store introduces The Princess and the Frog: Royal Academy, the ultimate in store experience for wannabe Princesses and Princes. Celebrating the release of Disney’s new animated classic, the Royal Academy is a master class in how to become a Princess or Prince like our newest royal couple, Tiana and Naveen. All 59 UK Disney Stores will host this experience every Saturday morning starting 30th January with even more froggy fun to be had during February half term!
Kids are invited to attend in costume for the free Royal Academy experience which includes:
Storytelling
An interactive introduction to Princess Tiana, our frog Prince Naveen and the fateful kiss that leads them both on an hilarious
adventure.
Animation Magic
Kids will learn how to draw our new favourite frog, using the traditional techniques of hand drawn animation used in ‘The
Princess and the Frog’.
Etiquette Class
In just a few simple steps, little ones will be able to perfect their Princess and Prince poise.
All graduates from the Royal Academy will be crowned and receive a congratulatory certificate.
The Royal Academy also celebrates the launch of a new range of products inspired by ‘The Princess and the Frog’. Get the true
