Create a Vine for the Panto

LOCAL CHILDREN ARE INVITED TO JOIN EXETER NORTHCOTT PANTOMIME CHARACTERS AND GET CREATIVE IN PRINCESSHAY!

Local children are being invited by Princesshay to show off their artistic talents by creating a leaf for a colourful vine
and see their work displayed, when the vine takes pride of place in the Exeter Northcott foyer during the Sleeping Beauty
panto this Christmas.
The Create-a-Vine event promises to be lots of fun as panto characters from the thetare put in an appearance! The event will
be located in Princesshay Square and will take place on the Thursday of half term, between 10am and 4pm.

The event is taking place, as part Classic FM’s Arts & Kids Week, a national campaign led by Children & the Arts to encourage
children and their families to get involved in the arts.
The ‘Create- a -vine’ event is the culmination of Princesshay’s Create-a-Quest project. Devised by The Prince’s Foundation
for Children & the Arts and supported by Land Securities and Princesshay in Exeter, Create-a-Quest is a national programme
designed to introduce children to the magic of the arts.
Emma McLeod, Princesshay Marketing Manager said, “We expect the Create-a -Vine event to be lots of fun for local children
and families. The panto characters promise to create lots of laughs and best of all, at the end of the event, children will
get to show their artwork off to friends and family during the panto season!”
Rachel Vowles from Exeter Northcott theatre said, “The event in Princesshay promises to be great fun and we can’t wait to display the beautiful vine created in our foyer for Christmas.”
